Origami
Origami is the
Japanese art of paper folding, to obtain figures of various shapes. In Spanish is
also known as 'origami'.
In the origami not
used scissors or glue or staples, only paper and hands. Therefore, with only a
few sheets of paper can be obtained various geometrical bodies (sometimes
polyhedrons) or lifelike figures. The different figures obtained from a sheet
of paper may have different areas and volumes.
According to Eastern
philosophy, origami brings calm and patience those who practice, common feature
of many therapies based on manual exercise.
Currently Origami
Origami is defined as
an art education in which people develop their artistic and intellectual
expression. It also exposed the essence that lies behind those fingers folded
papers to give birth to innumerable figures.
The particularity of
this technique is to transform paper into shapes of different size and
symbolism, from an initial base square or rectangular models can range from
simple to highly complex folded. Preferred subjects for modeling are animals
and other elements of nature such as flowers, trees among other reasons.
